SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

USST is seeking to add a qualified Scheduling Coordinator to its operations team. The Scheduling Coordinator will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with Field Supervisors and crew members, the Sales team, the Human Resources Manager, and the Senior Cost Estimator. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational functions of USST including, but not limited to: tracking field data, scheduling and coordinating projects from start to finish, creating and maintaining the weekly operations schedule, managing travel arrangements for the field crew members, organizing and auditing company files, and effectively communicating with all members of the operations team, company managers and any vendor/client relationships. 

Main Duties:

  • Create and maintain the weekly operations field crew schedule. Coordinate all staffing needs with the Field Supervisors
  • Work closely with General Manager and Senior Cost Estimator to schedule upcoming projects in accordance with the appropriate company resources including, but not limited to field crew members and equipment availability
  • Track and maintain accurate and up to date field data into spreadsheets and reports; this includes, but is not limited to tracking project progress, monitoring and tracking all disposal data/costs associated with each project and reporting data to the General Manager
  • Work closely with the Human Resources Manager to assist with daily administrative tasks and operations activities as needed.
  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of safety trainings to ensure company compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist operations with the tracking and monitoring of all CDL Drivers and fleet management using the company’s electronic tracking device software
  • Assist with the management of driver logs and driver files in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, rules, and regulations.
  • Work closely with the operations Fleet Administrator to update and maintain accurate fleet maintenance schedules and reports
  • Support General Manager by performing research and coordinating administrative functions and tasks as needed for operations
  • Process all daily project forms and audit all incoming field reports, and other field documents for accuracy, efficiency and timeliness in accordance with each operations project
  • Coordinate and manage all travel arrangements for field crew members; this includes making hotel reservations for all out of town projects and monitoring daily per diem rates for the operations crew
  • Order equipment and supplies as needed (per the approval of the General Manager) and handle outside vendor communications and relationships
  • Maintain accurate, precise and up-to-date company records for all operational reports, spreadsheets and project tracking data

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with DOT compliance, rules and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Motivated individual and strong team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs as needed
  • Two or more years of experience in related field
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university is preferred but not required

Field Service Technician II/CDL Driver

USST is seeking to add qualified Service Technicians to its team.  Service Technicians are primarily responsible for completing daily field duties in a safe and compliant manner as well as being highly motivated individuals with an excellent work ethic.

Main Duties:

  • Train in the understanding and efficient operation and troubleshooting of the USST Combination truck and GritGone Process® as well other technologies
  • Maintain and safely operate pump trucks, vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks and other company vehicles, including pre and post-trip inspections
  • Complete and submit company forms and truck logs according to state and federal regulations
  • Communicate professionally and report any issues to appropriate internal personnel while continuously providing excellent customer service
  • Successfully complete safety training as provided by USST to become an expert in recognizing potential onsite safety hazards through communication and reporting
  • Properly employ personal protective equipment
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain a spirit of cooperation and teamwork at all times
  • Willing and able to travel for several days at a time, nights and/or weekends when required; overtime can be expected

Skills & Experience:

  • Understands highway and traffic signals
  • Able to make legible entries on paperwork
  • Strong team player
  • Experience with vacuum trucks, tankers or roll-offs strongly desired
  • Must be able to operate manual transmission
  • Must have Florida Class A or B CDL License, Tanker Endorsement, and clean driving record
  • Requires 2-years of experience in heavy equipment operation and driving experience
  • Confined Space Entry Certification (course provided, experience preferred)
  • OSHA 10 (course provided, experience preferred)
  • Must be able to pass drug test and have a current medical card
  • Must be 21-years of age or older
  • High school diploma, or its equivalent

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 80-pounds or more
  • Physically able to work 8 to 12 hours per day in a variety of extreme environment conditions
  • Must be able to bend, climb, stoop, crawl, kneel, or crouch and exhibit normal range of body motion
  • Must be willing to work in confined spaces following OSHA requirements and near moving mechanical parts
