U.S. Submergent Technologies is Mission Driven

At U.S. Submergent Technologies, we understand that performing our job to the highest standards for service and safety is our foremost responsibility.
Only when you, our valued client, see us as the premier service provider for restoring the capacity of wet infrastructure based on our service, standards, and commitment have we accomplished our job.
To managers responsible for the maintenance of critical wet infrastructure, who face safety, compliance, and operational challenges, we promise to be:

We Are:

  • Innovative - When we solve problems using our capabilities, we are safer, faster, and more cost-effective than anyone else.
  • Dependable - When we show up on time, do what we say, and always follow up.
  • Knowledgeable - When we learn from our experiences and understand our limits.
  • Efficient - When we do not waste time.
  • Exceeding Expectations - When we care, communicate honestly, and do our job.

Our Crew Demonstrates:

  • Safety - When we pay attention to our surroundings, anticipate what might happen, and plan for how we handle anything that could occur.
  • Leadership - When our team leaders take responsibility for their actions and everyone who is part of the team.
  • Accountability - When we each fully accept responsibility for our decisions and actions.
  • Teamwork - When we demonstrate there is no "I" in team.
  • Integrity - When we do what is right, even when no one is watching.
  • Commitment - When we overcome today's challenges and prepare ourselves for tomorrow's.
  • Excellence - When we work hard, seek to be productive, and work to get it right, as opposed to seeking to be right.
The U.S. Submergent Technologies Corporate Health and Safety Program Manual adds detailed guidance and training for all team members to provide a solid safety foundation for every job.

Tank and Pipe Cleaning Safety

In every project USST serves or supports, the health and safety of employees, clients, and the public is our highest priority. We observe federal, state, and local laws and best practices. An equally important part of our safety protocols is our commitment to communication both internally and to our clients, keeping them apprised of plans and schedules throughout the job.

U.S. Submergent Technologies revolutionized infrastructure maintenance with technologies that provide a safer and faster way to clean wet infrastructure, and our team members are highly trained in using all equipment. Every project includes a health and safety plan designed specifically for the project and each unique situation. Included in the document are:

  • A site-specific risk assessment and hazard identification
  • A transportation plan addressing route hazards, route and fleet safety
  • Confined space entry program and permits, when necessary
  • Disposal site requirements and compliance
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Site control measures
  • Communication and safe work practices
  • An emergency action plan
  • First aid and local first responder information
  • Additional COVID-19 safety measures and extreme hygiene precautions for both our crew and customers

Confined Space Entry

When confined space entry is necessary for performing cleaning operations, USST adheres to all applicable safety standards and requirements, including, but not limited to, 29 CFR part 1926.

Entrance into a confined space requires a permit. When an entry permit is in place, a rescue plan is required. The plan will list the personnel and equipment required to be at the worksite before entry is allowed. Our team eliminates atmospheric hazards through proper ventilation and air quality monitoring.

Once the scope of work has been identified, a site-specific operational approach can be provided upon request.
